In Search of the Other is designed as a textbook for the course Regional Literatures in Translation. The basic objective in bringing out such a collection is to introduce to the students the rich canon of regional literatures in India as well as to familiarise them with the emerging trends in the vernacular literatures. It is also intended to make them aware of the complex process of translation.
