Description

This book is designed as per the MGU-UGP (BA Hons.) English syllabus as a foundation course for the second semester students. It aims to introduce students to the basics of literary appreciation by familiarising them with the nuances of prose, drama, and film. We hope that the insightful introduction, comprehensive summaries, a helpful glossary and stimulating questions of this book will enable the readers to critically engage with the texts prescribed. The practicum components of each module are intended to act as signposts for furthering literary explorations through active student participation.
